Leroy Merlin is looking for crazy guys, who just like them, are passionate about customer satisfaction and are brave enough to challenge the retail delivery industry.

 


**What do they expect from you?**


 

To build an on demande retail delivery platform

For our South African consumers & drivers who are ready to deliver, connecting them in a simple and efficient, Uber-like environment. Linking the ones in need and those ready to provide.

To collect and structure the driver database

For localised product delivery, making drivers available through an instant quotation system in an App and via an API, directly on the partner’s website. Including all the relevant features like: flexible rates, real time progress tracking, smart routing with multiple collection and drop off points, etc.

To stay open & available for the ecosystem

Investors' Pitch

All 3 startups will get the chance to pitch in front the investors at the event.

Investors/VC’s from all over Africa, Europe and the USA will attend at the event.

Winner

A Proof of Concept (POC) will be launched for the winner of the Challenge, with Leroy Merlin (and partners).

Maturity Criteria

Only startups can participate in this challenge, meaning:

Innovative solution or service

Less than 5 years of existence

Early-stage // Seed-stage company

Submission Rules

Required format:

Short video with 2 topics: Startup presentation / How do you solve the problem? (mpg, mpeg, mp4, mov) – You can also share us a “Wetransfer” link or a Youtube video

Deck pitch: 8 slides max (ppt, pdf)

Last day of submission: 25th of October 2017 – 12 midnight
